Youth Specialties Academic Support Network

Linking youth ministry education with real world youth ministry resources and training. Youth Specialties and Zondervan are partnering with colleges and seminaries committed to youth ministry. We're dedicated to helping you teach those who've been called into the ministry of working with youth. That's why we've developed the YS Academic Support Network. It's a free program for accredited schools offering youth ministry as a majors or minor. See the benefits and requirements below. The Benefits

For the professor:

  • National Youth Workers Convention: With a minimum of 5 students and one professor, the student's registration fee is $125 each and the professor's registration is free.
  • THE CORE: With a minimum of 10 students and one professor, the student's registration fee is $15 each and the professor's registration is free.
    
    To secure your discount, register through the normal channels (on the Web site or with the brochure you get in the mail), and mention the YSASN Member Discount.

Institutional Membership Requirements

Stipulations:

• This program is limited to schools within the continental United States and Canada only
• To become a member, you must be a professor
• This program is limited to one professor per school

School requirements:

• Must offer a major or minor in Youth Ministry
• Must be North American accredited
• Must indicate your program's relationship with this program on the Youth Ministry section of your school Web site
• Must link to the Youth Specialties Web site

Professor requirements:

• Must annually distribute the Youth Specialties catalog to youth ministry students
• Must annually display Youth Specialties resources in the classroom
