Don’t Give Up on What Makes You Unique
I think one of the things that sometimes discourages us is that we think that in order to be memorable we need to be just like everyone else. That’s actually counter intuitive. If all you ever do is knock off the work of others than you may be short-changing what God is trying to do.
Case in point, Mike Rowe. Check out these two videos. The first is from 1992 when Mike was just getting his start on QVC. The second is from a recent episode of his hit show, Dirty Jobs.
So, let this be an encouragement to you. Keep doing your thing. Keep working on what makes you unique and eventually it really will pay off.
