It's Easy Being Green
by Emma Sleeth

In It's Easy Being Green, students will learn how to honor God in the choices they make and they'll begin to understand the impact those choices have on the environment. Emma will help students see how they can make a difference at school, around the house, and all over the world as they make choices about everything from transportation to food to clothes.

DCLA 2009 - BE LOVE SERVE * REPEAT - Living into the Mission of God
DCLA is an opportunity for your students to join in the adventure of learning how to live into the mission of God. This is no Sunday school lesson or easy answer journey but rather, getting involved in God's amazing work of redemption, reconciliation and restoration of the world and everything in it.

We are so excited to have Kendall Payne, Hawk Nelson, Starfield, Run Kid Run, the Skit Guys and many others join us at DCLA 2009 next summer!

"As a parent, youth volunteer, and youth pastor, I have never seen a single youth event with as much power to change lives as DCLA. It has truly transformed my two kids and countless others in our youth program in how they see Jesus work in their lives and how they share that with their friends."

This is the stuff our lawyer wants you to know. Read on if you enjoy legal jargon or if you just want to know everything you can about why we do what we do at YS. The YS Update provides links and resources that reflect today's culture and thoughts on youth ministry. We don't promise that you'll agree with (or like) everything we link to, but we put them here anyway because we believe it may help you, your students, or your ministry. We try really hard to send you to "safe" sites (without pornography or offensive images), but occasionally we may link to a site with some bad words. Also, remember that what one person finds offensive, another may find funny, or vice versa. So we apologize in advance for anything you may not like or agree with that we link to here. We're just trying to get valuable information into your hands! Oh, and just so you know, YS doesn't necessarily agree with and/or support everything we link to, as well.
