Job Description	CommunitasPHX - the newest site in a series of missional experiments of CRM (Church Resource Ministries - http://www.crmleaders.org) is looking for additional team members to share life/mission with the lead couple. Communitasphx is a movement of mission in Downtown Phoenix focused on cultivating faith among those outside the reach of the existing church. Together we live out an incarnational posture sharing life deeply with those around us while inviting those we have relationship with to join us in kingdom action in the city. While relationships are built in the spheres of our everyday lives, neighborhoods, schools, workplaces, local shops and businesses, we invite those we're meeting join us as we pursue 4 priorities of life together: the ways of Jesus, of community, of justice, and of creativity. As we live these ways out as a team, we also believe these 4 ways of life form inroads to the gospel for those we care for. We're developing a series of initiatives built around these 4 ways of life that allow both for us to live out these ways as intentional rhythms, while also giving us actions and effort to invite others into. To find out more about the initiatives we're currently exploring, visit, http://www.communitasphx.org/initiatives.html Who we're looking for: - those with a pioneering spirit - those willing to help creatively imagine new expressions of church among those outside of and new to the faith. - those who don't mind getting their hands dirty in the messiness of broken relationships, economic hardships, addiction, poverty, and homelessness - those interested in a holistic Christian spirituality that values balance and rhythm in all the areas of life - those who understand the church as a people on mission together as opposed to a building or a worship service - those tired of consumer Christianity - those with big hearts and willing hands - those willing to live in close proximity with others of faith on mission together - those willing to share their lives deeply with others - those willing to live outwardly - focused on others - those who can't handle doing things the way they always been done the realities:( - this way of life is not easy - living in intentional community with others isn't easy - cultivating faith among people without faith can be messy and tricky - we are an experimental movement - we will change the spiritual/missional climate of Phoenix if we give our lives to this - there are no salaries to give - team members can choose to raise personal support (as a staff member of CRM), to work a job, or explore business with others in the community as a way to fund mission If after reading all of this, you still are interested and want to know more, please email Zack Newsome at zack@communitasphx.org.
