Trinity Evangelical Free Church is a growing, upbeat church located in the western suburbs of Cleveland, OH. We are intentional about making and multiplying disciples that look like Jesus. We’re characterized by a strong commitment to the Word of God, a blended style of worship, and compassionate and caring ministry that meets people at their point of need. We are seeking a youth pastor who will have the mission of discipling youth to live a committed Christianity which lends itself to a missional mindset in every aspect of life. Key areas of responsibility will be to oversee the youth ministry, recruit and train other youth leaders, and develop and disciple teens.
We’re looking for a man that is passionate about developing and mentoring teens. He should be a self-starter, but team-oriented in his leadership. He should work well with both parents and teens. He should be committed to God’s Word, spending time in it daily and being able to teach it. He should recognize its authority in His life, having a strong desire and commitment to submit to it. He should have a high view of the local church and of biblical church leadership, demonstrating commitment to ministry in the local church. He should also meet the qualifications given by Paul in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9. A 4-yr. college degree is required, and additional Biblical education is helpful. Experience in youth ministry is preferable, though not essential. If married, his wife should be supportive of his ministry.
