Does relational student ministry among a multiethnic church in a university town get you excited? Do you have a pastor’s heart filled with love for both youth (grades 7-12) and college students? Can you mentor students, teach Biblical truth with relevance, and lead volunteer teams? Do you have at least five years of experience leading student ministries that reach students in the community who become growing Christ followers? We want to talk with you!
First Baptist Church of Amherst is searching for a Students Ministries Pastor to join our pastoral team. First Baptist is located at the University of Massachusetts in a region with 34,000 students. People from 36 nations call FBC their church home. We gather for heartfelt worship celebrations with engaging Biblical teaching, do life together in growth groups, and serve our community through our Food Pantry, Medical Clinic, ESL Classes, Homeless Shelter, and more.
You can expect to be mentored among our pastoral team and supported by volunteer teams. You would lead our student ministries to reach students for Christ and equip them to serve God for a lifetime.
