Yellow may be my favorite. Buen Vecino, the take on the Good Samaritan story, challenges us to take a look at ourselves - whom do we consider "other"? Who is "not worth our time"? And when have we received undeserved grace from the "other"? Beautiful. I challenge anyone to keep a dry eye when viewing the video on the parable of the lost coin, "Found." 'Nuff said. And the wonderful parable of the talents not only portrays the story beautifully, but also reminds us that credentials aren't necessarily the same thing as talents!

I really love the modern retelling of the parables. The Good Samaritan really brought out a lot of cultural discussions our kids needed to have. I have worked with kids for 20 years and find these resources well worth the price I paid for them. As with any video resource, you watch it, tailor the discussion questions to your group, and go from there. I built a whole year's worth of material using these and the actual parables out of the Bible. Very well done. I believe it can speak to both youth and adults.

Just got this DVD in the mail this morning (well probably this weekend, but just popped it in today) and I love it. The parables are told in a way that you wouldn't expect. They are not a direct/parallel modern retelling of them per se, but they are a awesome take on these parables in a way where the videos totally relate. I'm exicted to use these with my students. Although, I would love to see some handouts included in these, the videos are straight forward enough that you can totally make up your own discussions questions or an outline for a talk.
